Emirates Imposes Lifetime Ban On Qadri

A few days ago while Tahir-Ul-Qadri, the Chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) was traveling in an Emirtaes aircraft, he kept the aircraft held up for a few hours due to some security problems at the airport in Lahore. Because of the problems of law and order, the government of Pakistan was forced to direct the flight from Islamabad to Lahore. Due to this reason, the Emirates Airlines has imposed a ban for a lifetime on Qadri against this event. The Emirates did not want to direct the flight but were forced to do so because Qadri would not disembark the aircraft in Lahore and prevented the other passengers from departing it as well.

At last, he made a deal with the provincial governments and things calmed down. People were of the opinion that this act by Qadri was just the same as hijacking. The Emirates have not only banned Qadri but legal proceedings might also be initiated by the Airlines.
