Gullu Butt, PML-N Worker, Unconscious after Being Thrashed in the Court Premises

Gallu Butt, a PML-N party worker, who was recently caught wrecking vehicles during clashes between police and the PAT (Pakistan Awami Tehreek) workers in Lahore, got beaten by furious mob in Model Town on Thursday. As per the reports, he was brought by police to be presented in a session court, but several citizens and lawyers began to beat him in the court premises, until he was completely unconscious. Butt has been shifted to an anonymous location by police. The incident occurred before he was presented in the court.

Gullu Butt was arrested on Wednesday morning on CM Shahbaz Sharif’s orders. He was sent and kept at some unknown location instead of being locked up, considering risks of potential attack on him.
