200 Kg Explosives Apprehended From Residence Of Jamhoori Watan Party’s (JWP) Leader


Pakistan Security forces searched the residence of a Baloch leader; Nawabzada Shahzain Bugti and recovered 200kg of explosives including large quantities of arms and ammunition. Media reported the incident in Quetta on Wednesday. A personnel of anti-terrorist force and Frontier Corps led a joint raid and obstructed a major terror bid, said by a security official while talking to Dawn reporter.

The security officer confirmed that 200 Kg of explosives, 800 hand-grenades, electric detonators, and 13 RPG launchers were apprehended during the raid from the house of Nawabzada Shahzain Bugti.

Nawabzada Shahzain Bugti was also arrested previously for the charges of illegally possession of weapons few years back. The arrest was made by FC police.

Arrest was not made during the raid in the incident on Wednesday, however, sources close to Bugti, asserted the report as groundless and unfounded.
