Imran Khan; Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, had announced previously in this month that he had separated his ways from Javed Hashmi. Javed Hashmi received a show-cause notice from the party on Wednesday, and he termed it as unconstitutional for the party.

Javed Hashmi addressed the press conference at his residence and said, “Those who had never been elected, have never seen the face of a voter, cannot suspend an elected president of the party.” He added, “They should know who they are addressing, if they want explanation, I would go to the container to contact people who voted him in majority.”

Javed Hashmi ousted the impression that he could get the same support as an independent candidate in NA-149 by PPP and PML-N.

Before joining PTI, Javed Hashmi served twice in Federal cabinet as the Federal Ministry of Health and Federal Ministry of Youth Affairs in both the governments of Nawaz Sharif, the Pakistan’s Prime Minister. He originally served as a senior and leading member of Pakistan Muslim league for most of the years of his life.
