Legal Notice Sent to Imran Khan By Justice (Retired) Ramday

Former SC judge Khalilur Rehman Ramday sent a legal notice to PTI Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday to defame him by accusing him of rigging during general elections of May 2013.

Imran had been naming former Supreme Court chief justice Iftikhar M. Chaudhry, retired senior Supreme Court judge Khalilur Rehman Ramday, former caretaker CM Najam Sethi, and some officials of the ECP (Election Commission of Pakistan) for allegedly parting in rigging of 2013 elections.

The allegations were dismissed by Ramday previously. He referred to allegations as being baseless, saying that he reserves a right to take legal action against Imran Khan, PTI chief. Former SC judge, in the notice, claims that Khan has leveled baseless accusations.

Ramday has demanded an apology from PTI Chief, warning that he will sue Imran Khan of defamation if he fails to comply in next 14 days.
