If Held Responsible for Lahore Incident, I will Resign; Says Shahbaz Sharif

Shahbaz Sharif, Punjab Chief Minister, made a statement that if the judicial commission investigating the incident in Lahore holds him responsible; he will resign from his seat. While addressing a press conference in Lahore, he won’t influence the FIRs even if registered against him.

He sympathized with Dr. Tahirul Qadri while addressing, and assured him that officials responsible for this incident will be punished with no delay. Shahbaz assured that the public will be kept informed on all the facts about the incident, and the justice is going to be served. As per him, the barriers around secretariat were eradicated by police, and he was not responsible for the permission.
