Islamabad High Court (IHC) Bars ARY Anchorperson Mubashir Luqman to Host any Talk Show!

Who isn’t aware of the renowned name of electronic as well social media, ‘Mubashir Luqman’. The anchorperson of ARYNEWS who once put forth the current hot political issues to debate is now himself in the headlines! The non-profit organization Shuhada Foundation Pakistan (SFP) filed a petition in Islamabad High Court against Mubashir Luqman, the host of ‘Khara Sach’ on ARYNEWS, in the plea that he conducted a series of programs against the judicial system of Pakistan. The defense lawyer, Tariq Asad, further claimed that the host consistently defamed, derided and obstruct the superior judiciary of Pakistan by conducting contemptuous programs against the seasoned judges of Pakistan.

Moreover, Mubashir Luqman was accused of crossing the limits of journalism, and was termed as the root cause of hatred spreading against the justice authorities of our country. Government institutions, PEMRA and Ministry of Information was also put into question for taking no action against his contemptuous conduct and hence the anchorperson was issued summon for contempt of court on Wednesday 2014, followed by strict orders to not conduct any TV show as a host until subsequent hearing of the court. IHC also issued summons for chairperson PEMRA and secretary of information ministry to undergo an inquiry commission for taking no action against the complaints of this known personality.

In protest to the leadership authorities of Pakistan and denial of contempt of court, Mubashir Luqman made a guest appearance on his very own talk show of ARYNEWS, ‘Khara Sach’ where he declared to quit the television career for good. The journalist claims that his call for justice in his very own country has ended up in utter disappointed, thus as a result he opened a foreign currency account to transfer all his earnings abroad. Mubashir Luqman denying any prejudicial act against the higher authorities of judicial system of Pakistan finds himself framed in a conspiracy, and finally decided to support Mr. Tahir ul Qadiri with an intention to bring revolution in the country very soon!
