Qadri Wants FIR Lodged Against ‘Sharif’ Brothers and Punjab Cabinet
Dr. Tahirul Qadri, Chairman Pakistan Awami Tehreek, said an FIR of the Lahore incident will be filed against Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, and the Punjab cabinet, while his son showed his suspicion over judicial commission formed by the government.
While addressing a press conference from Toronto via video link, Qadri said that 8 of his party workers were martyred and eighty-three were injured because of the firing from police. He said that the actions of police were unjustifiable because the barriers around the secretariat and his residence were placed around 4 years ago on orders from government.
The Chairman Pakistan Awami Tehreek said the motive of this ‘state terrorism’ was only to take vengeance of his support for the Pakistan Army and the ISI in its struggle with a private TV. As per him, this chaos was planned so the public’s attention could be distracted from Zarb-e-Azb operation in North Waziristan. He stated that this movement cannot be stopped now and there is going to be Qisas of blood as per the laws of Sharia.
PAT chief wants to know if police were there in order to confiscate the barriers from the area, why they started firing at the gate of his residence. During the press conference, Dr. Tahirul Qadri asked, “They destroyed the generator in my house and shut down the electricity; how is this linked with the removal of barriers?”
While talking to media on the arrival of former CM Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, Tahirul Qadri, Hassan Mohayyud Din said that they don’t expect justice from present system. He criticized the torture on party workers by police and vowed that their party will continue the struggle to bring revolution in country.
