Chinese President’s "Pakistan Visit Cancellation" Was All a Hoax

In a regular press conference, Qin Gang, the spokesperson of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, said that they have not released any information regarding President Xi Jinping's visit to Pakistan, so the cancellation of the visit is completely out of question.

He revealed above while answering a question on media reports saying that the President Xi Jinping's visit to Pakistan has been canceled out of security concerns. Qin, while addressing the security situation in Pakistan, said they hope that the relevant parties in Pakistan will take necessary measures considering the essential interests of people and the state, and will jointly defend the national security.

PTI and PAT protesters have been getting the blame by many for being the reason behind the cancellation of president’s visit, as they were being considered a security threat.  However, through Qin Gang’s press release today, it has been confirmed that Mr. Xi Jinping had not yet scheduled a visit to Pakistan, so there were no basics available for the cancellation of visit.
