Maryam Takes Advantage of Being a Women, Says PM Imran Khan
On Friday, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that Maryam Nawaz, Vice President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), got away with offending and disrespecting Pakistan’s Military leadership because of the fact that women are revered in this country.
Prime Minister inaugurated the Sehat Sahulat Cards program in district Swat of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Friday.
After the inauguration, PM Imran addressed the gathering in which he promised, once again, that no National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) would be given to the opposition, saying that all opposition leaders have come together to protect their robbery.
Taking advantage of the respect given to women in the country, Maryam Nawaz used improper language against the army which gives numerous sacrifices for the state and its people on a regular basis, and that too at a time when Pakistan was being threatened by the extremist Indian prime minister’s national security adviser and when Kashmiris were being oppressed under Modi’s rule, said the premier.
He stated that Maryam Nawaz would have been sent behind the bars, had it been another country but as in Pakistan women are respected, she can talk openly.
Touching on the alliance of all the opposition parties of the country, in the shape of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), Prime Minister said that the biggest thieves of Pakistan had come together as one, thinking they were over the law.
Referring to the Chairperson of PML-N and Maryam Nawaz’s father, Nawaz Sharif, the Prime Minister said that he acted ill and made everyone feel sorry for him to an extent that the courts themselves asked the government to send him abroad, without taking any guarantee.
After going to London, initially, Nawaz and Maryam were silent, trying to get an NRO, but after they realized that they were not going to get any liberation from the government even after all the blackmailing, Nawaz Sharif began attacking the army and its officials, continued the Prime Minister.
Nawaz Sharif, the disqualified former prime minister of Pakistan, while addressing the protestors of the Pakistan Democratic Movement’s anti-government rallies, accused ISI Chief Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed and the Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa of orchestrating the ouster of his government back in 2017 and manipulating the general elections of 2018 to bring the “incompetent” Imran Khan to the power.
The premier and the government ministers strongly condemned Nawaz Sharif’s accusations and said that the opposition was attacking the national institutions and was endorsing the narrative of the enemy.
On the other side, Imran Khan appreciated Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan for making KP the first province to provide its entire population health coverage and offering health cards to the citizens.
