Foreign Minister Alleges India Wants To Disrupt Peace In Pakistan

In recent news, the Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, alleged that India is looking for opportunities to disrupt the peace in the region. According to him, the neighboring country is doing so by creating obstacles in the way of stability and peace in Pakistan.

These comments were made by Qureshi while attending a ceremony, which was organized by a leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Sheikh Wajid, to honor the employees of the Multan Waste Management Company.

The top diplomat iterated that Pakistan is only looking to promote peace in the region and that is its topmost priority. However, he claimed that policies being devised by India are creating major hurdles in the efforts that the country is making to pave the way for peace.

According to the Foreign Minister, finding solutions to the Palestinian and Kashmir issues are prerequisites towards establishing peace around the world. The Prime Minister of the country, Imran Khan, he added, has been highlighting the issues being faced by the Muslim Ummah, on international forums.

Qureshi revealed that the premier will be visiting Azad Kashmir on the 5th of August to express his solidarity with the oppressed citizens of the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). He went on to say that the people of the region there are being deprived of their basic rights and Pakistan empathizes with them.

As per the minister, the efforts of Imran Khan are what led to the issue of Kashmir being addressed again after more than six decades. He lauded the efforts of the leader of the country to bring the issue to the attention of everyone at international forums. He went on to state that the international community is now raising its voice in support of the innocent Kashmiris, who are suffering at the hands of the occupying forces in their city, all because of the efforts of the PTI government.

Qureshi claimed that where political parties are concerned, the ruling PTI has now become the most popular in the country. He further remarked that Pakistan is now making unprecedented progress due to the vibrant leadership of the Prime Minister. He hinted at efforts being made by the government to overcome the issue of inflation in the country.

The top diplomat expressed hope that the country would soon witness additional positive economic changes. Given that the fourth wave of the deadly disease is a huge challenge for the government, he urged the people to make it easier and follow precautions outlined by the relevant authorities. He maintained that the Sindh government should consult the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) to come up with a strategy and ensure that the pandemic is combatted effectively.

Qureshi also praised the efforts and performance of the employees of the Multan Waste Management Company, especially on the holidays of Eid Ul Azha. Various workers of the PTI attended the meeting, including MPA Javed Akhtar Ansari, and Special Assistant to CM Punjab.
